Archaeological excavation is progressing smoothly at the Huangshan site (an item of China"s top 10 new archaeological discoveries of 2021) in Huangshan village of Nanyang city, Central China"s Henan province. As of November 2022, over 1,000 cultural relics of the periods of Yangshao Culture (7000-5000 BC), Qujialing Culture (3300-2600 BC) and Shijiahe Culture (3000-1900 BC) have been discovered at the eastern and western parts of the site. During the mid-to-late Yangshao Culture period, round granaries were built densely, including 5 granaries on the same cultural layer, each covering an area of 50 square meters. So far, about one third of the wharf remains have been excavated, with the ruins of Yangshao and Qujialing buildings discovered near the canal.

南陽(yáng)黃山遺址曾入選2021年度全國(guó)十大考古新發(fā)現(xiàn)，考古工作一直在進(jìn)行，截至2022年11月，在山東臺(tái)地、山西崗地等地進(jìn)行發(fā)掘，出土數(shù)以千計(jì)的仰韶、屈家?guī)X、石家河文化遺跡。仰韶中晚期，地面圓形糧倉(cāng)群密集出現(xiàn)，其中面積50平方米糧倉(cāng)同一層面就有5座。碼頭清理約三分之一，在岸上發(fā)現(xiàn)豐富的仰韶文化、屈家?guī)X文化建筑遺跡。

The Huangshan site is used to be a central settlement featured by the production of jade and stone tools in the Neolithic Age, said Ma Juncai, a researcher at the Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology of Henan Province. Other rare remains include large rammed-earth housing foundations of the early Yangshao Culture period, residential buildings and workshops of the mid-to-late Yangshao Culture period, a group of granaries with similar volumes, multi-burial tombs, large wharf and canal, a wide ring trench, etc.

河南省文物考古研究院研究員馬俊才介紹，黃山遺址是一處新石器時(shí)代仰韶文化、屈家?guī)X文化、石家河文化玉石器制作特征明顯的中心性聚落。仰韶早期大型夯基房址、中晚期坊居建筑與作坊址、形制體量類(lèi)似的糧倉(cāng)群、多人一次性合葬墓、規(guī)模很大的碼頭與運(yùn)河、寬大的西外壕等遺跡極其罕見(jiàn)。
